Grant County waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 44-40 W against the Anderson County Bearcats. This was payback for the Braves, who suffered a 65-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Grant County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points over those games. As for Anderson County, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-7.
