Basketball Recap: St. Elizabeth Beats Braymer for Their Seventh Straight Victory

It's playoff time, and St. Elizabeth had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the Braymer Bobcats with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 78-63. The win was familiar territory for the Hornets, who have now won seven contests in a row.

It was another big night for Gavin Williams, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played. Nick Heckemeyer was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to seven assists and five boards.

St. Elizabeth was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

St. Elizabeth's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Braymer, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-9.

As of now, neither St. Elizabeth nor Braymer have any future games scheduled.
