Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Webster County

Webster County entered their tilt with Grayson County on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Cougars 4-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-4 on Saturday.

Micah Austin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up six Ks. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jack Edens, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Trace Hardison also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
