Baseball Recap: Swenson Arts & Tech Comes Up Short

Swenson Arts & Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-1 to the Thomas A. Edison Owls. The Lion were not able to make up for their defeat to the Owls from their previous meeting back in April of 2016.

Swenson Arts & Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Thomas A. Edison, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Swenson Arts & Tech will host South Philadelphia at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.9 runs per game on average), something the Lion will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Thomas A. Edison, they will face off against Olney at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Owls will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
