Baseball Recap: Tawas Area Wins Going Away Against Heston Academy

Tawas Area came out on top against Heston Academy on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Braves blew past the Patriots 12-2.

The team relied heavily on Mason Michalski, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Myles Parish was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Tawas Area's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Heston Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Tawas Area will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
