Basketball Recap: Families Instructing Students Homeschool Skates Past Out-Of-Door Academy with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Families Instructing Students HomeSchool). They blew past the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder 48-15 on Thursday. With the Hawks ahead 32-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Families Instructing Students HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julianna Lamon, who went 7 of 15 en route to 14 points along with seven boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Lamon a new career-high in assists (four). Melody Lee was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

Out-of-Door Academy is facing Admiral Farragut at the right time seeing as Admiral Farragut is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
