Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grapevine Faith Christian). They never let the Coram Deo Academy Lions onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Monday. Given Grapevine Faith Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while Coram Deo Academy is ranked 669th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Grapevine Faith Christian's offense was hitting Coram Deo Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Mateo Reyes led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Grapevine Faith Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those seven contests.
