Football Recap: Belgrade Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Belgrade extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They were outmatched by the Gallatin Raptors and fell 57-7. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-7.

Despite the loss, Belgrade still got an impressive performance from Noah Shugart, who rushed for 52 yards and one touchdown. Shugart showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.

As for Gallatin, their record is now 7-1. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Gallatin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyson Scheel, who rushed for 195 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries. Those 195 rushing yards gave Scheel a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carter Dahlke, who gained 152 total yards and four touchdowns.

Belgrade didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 55-21 loss against Billings West on the 23rd. As for Gallatin, they have also already played their next contest, a 42-0 victory against Billings Senior on the 24th.
