Basketball Recap: Hackleburg Gets the Win

Brilliant typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Hackleburg proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Brilliant Tigers by a score of 48-41. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Tigers last Thursday, they had to take a 57-53 defeat.

When it comes to explaining why Brilliant lost, don't look at Hadlee Sanderson. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Karagan Stanford, who posted three points.

Hackleburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-44 defeat against Belgreen on the 28th. As for Brilliant, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-41 win against Berry on the 28th.
