Soccer Recap: Belfry Comes Up Short

Belfry lost against Lawrence County back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. Belfry have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belfry's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Lawrence County, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Belfry is set to face off against their familiar foe Pikeville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lawrence County will square off against rival Paintsville at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
