Soccer Game Preview: Grace Davis vs. Lathrop

The Grace Davis Spartans will venture away from home to take on the Lathrop Spartans at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Davis' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, Grace Davis might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Central Valley an easy 5-1 victory.

Grace Davis' goal came courtesy of Aarush Singh, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Lathrop and Pacheco finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

Lathrop's draw gives them a new season record of 3-3-3. As for Grace Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

Everything went Grace Davis' way against Lathrop when the teams last played back in January, as Grace Davis made off with a 3-0 win. Will Grace Davis repeat their success, or does Lathrop have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
