Glenwood is 8-2 against Rochester since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Glenwood Titans will look to defend their home court against the Rochester Rockets at 1:30 p.m. Glenwood is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Last Tuesday, Glenwood was able to grind out a solid victory over Effingham, taking the game 47-35. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Hearts are ranked 422nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Rochester beat Springfield 54-48 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

Rochester's win came from a few key players Glenwood will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kai Bruce, who went 5 for 7 en route to 15 points. Nate Swaney was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Glenwood pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Rochester, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Glenwood came up short against Rochester when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 38-34. Can Glenwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
