Soccer Game Preview: Washington vs. Jefferson City

The Washington Bluejays will head out on the road to face off against the Jefferson City Jays at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Wednesday, Washington didn't have quite enough to beat St. Francis Borgia and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Washington have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson City). They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Fatima on Wednesday. Jefferson City haven't had any issues with Fatima recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jefferson City's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. As for Washington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10-1.
