Trinity Christian came tearing into Thursday's matchup with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Sandy Creek Patriots. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Catherine Whiting paced Trinity Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Whiting got some help from Genna Rinkenberger and her 14 assists. Zoe Joyner controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Sandy Creek, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will face off against Whitewater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
