Basketball Game Preview: Maricopa Indians vs. Coastal Christian Conquerors

Maricopa hasn't had much luck against Coastal Christian recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Indians will head out to challenge the Conquerors at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Maricopa earned a 54-43 win over Alpaugh. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Buffalos: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Coastal Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past Dunn with an 81-76 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Coastal Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Maricopa, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Maricopa came up short against Coastal Christian when the teams last played back in January, falling 34-25. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
