Colfax came into Friday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Clear Lake Warriors by a score of 13-8 on Friday. With that victory, the Vikings brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Jimmy Hobein was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Chase Albricht was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Colfax always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Colfax's record is now 2-7. As for Clear Lake, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
