Volleyball Recap: Eastwood Eagles vs. Archbold Blue Streaks
Eastwood and Archbold squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Eastwood had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Archbold Blue Streaks by a score of 3-2. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Eastwood still got an impressive performance from Gianna Coalson, who had 13 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Coalson has posted since back in September.
Even though they lost, Eastwood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Archbold only served six.
Archbold was led to victory by Grace Meyer and Jazla Torres. Meyer had 15 digs, while Torres had eight digs and 48 assists. Torres is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.
Eastwood's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Archbold, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.
