The Hawthorne Valley Wildcats will head out to square off against the Schalmont Sabres at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Hawthorne Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.2 points per game this season.

Hawthorne Valley is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Fort Edward: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Hawthorne Valley blew Fort Edward out of the water with a 75-37 final score. With the Wildcats ahead 34-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Hawthorne Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justin Gamiello led the charge by putting up 20 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Vom Stein, who posted 18 points.

Hawthorne Valley pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.2 points. As for Schalmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-18.
