There's no place like home for Georgetown Visitation Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-55 win over the Whitman Vikings on Thursday. With that victory, the Cubs brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.

Georgetown Visitation Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jocelyn Gill, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards. Alyssa Fitzgerald was another key player, putting up 19 points and three steals.

The win got Georgetown Visitation Prep back to even at 4-4. As for Whitman, they moved to 4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
