Basketball Recap: Chemawa Indian Comes Up Short

Chemawa Indian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Colton Vikings, falling 41-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Braves have suffered against the Vikings since January 14, 2017.

Chemawa Indian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Colton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chemawa Indian has already played their next contest (against Santiam), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Colton will challenge Salem Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Salem Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Colton surely won't give up without a fight.
