Volleyball Game Preview: Capistrano Valley Cougars vs. Mission Viejo Diablos + How To Watch

The Capistrano Valley Cougars will square off against the Mission Viejo Diablos at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Capistrano Valley and six for Mission Viejo.

Capistrano Valley came up short against San Clemente on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Mission Viejo lost 3-0 to Tesoro on Thursday.

Mission Viejo's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Capistrano Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-18.

Capistrano Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Mission Viejo in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
