Basketball Game Preview: St. Patrick Shamrocks vs. Fowler Eagles

St. Patrick is 1-9 against Fowler since December of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The St. Patrick Shamrocks will square off against the Fowler Eagles at 7:00 p.m. St. Patrick is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

St. Patrick's tournament run continued when they took on Fulton on Wednesday. St. Patrick came out on top against Fulton by a score of 59-47.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fowler). They claimed a resounding 82-43 win over Breckenridge. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Fowler is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.4 points. St. Patrick's victory bumped their record up to 16-7.

St. Patrick came up short against Fowler when the teams last played back in January, falling 53-40. Can St. Patrick avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
