Baseball Recap: Ford Comes Up Short

Ford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sunnyvale Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-2 loss on Tuesday.

Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9-2. As for Sunnyvale, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8-1.

Looking ahead, Ford will square off against Caddo Mills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Foxes' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Sunnyvale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
