Volleyball Recap: Palm Valley Find Success

Palm Valley proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School Mustangs, sneaking past 2-1.

Alex Ratner paced Palm Valley's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ratner got some help from Pres Pillard and his three assists. Kyle Knight controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Palm Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Palm Valley has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Xavier Prep on the 8th. As for Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against San Jacinto Valley Academy on the 8th.
