Normal West extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 7-2. They claimed a resounding 57-15 victory over the Urbana Tigers. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

As for Urbana, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 415th, while Normal West is ranked 101st).

When it comes to explaining why Urbana lost, don't look at Kyree Hillsman. Despite the final result, he rushed for 77 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 40 yards and one TD.

Normal West has already played their next contest, a 34-24 win against Thornwood on the 1st. Urbana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
