Volleyball Recap: Tates Creek Extends Winning Streak to Six

Tates Creek extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 16-6. Everything went their way against the Franklin County Flyers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Commodores were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Flyers, so the Commodores were just returning the favor.

As for Franklin County, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since September 6th.

Alex Perkins and Drew Bevington certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Perkins had ten digs and two aces, while Bevington had six digs.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tates Creek will venture away from home to challenge Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklin County, they will face off against Woodford County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
