Stanton County lost to Southwestern Heights on Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Trojans came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0.

Stanton County never let Southwestern Heights on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23.

Hannah Canny paced Stanton County's offense, picking up seven kills. Canny got some help from Jerzey Ochoa and her six assists. Canny was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Southwestern Heights' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lindanis Puentes, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Stanton County's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Southwestern Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 16-15.

Stanton County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Syracuse on the 11th. As for Southwestern Heights, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Cimarron on the 20th.
