Baseball Game Preview: Eaton Rapids Greyhounds vs. Eastern Quakers

The Eaton Rapids Greyhounds will head out to face off against the Eastern Quakers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Eaton Rapids' offense. They came up short against Lansing Catholic on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The Greyhounds have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Eastern also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 20-0 to St. Johns on Tuesday.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 4-25. As for Eaton Rapids, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Eaton Rapids got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2024 against Eastern by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Greyhounds have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Quakers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
