Shelbyville entered their tilt with Chireno on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Owls 12-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 back in March.

Lanie Bass made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kylie Snell, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Cadee Harley was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Shelbyville's record now sits at 15-8. As for Chireno, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Shelbyville will head out on the road to challenge Broaddus at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Chireno, they will be playing at home against Woden at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
