After a string of three wins, Perry's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houston County Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Thursday.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by exactly three points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Houston County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-12.

Perry has already played their next matchup (against Warner Robins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Houston County, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Veterans on the 29th.
