Baseball Recap: Trinity Classical Academy Has No Trouble Against Valley Torah

The matchup between Trinity Classical Academy and Valley Torah on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. Everything went the Trinity Classical Academy Knights' way against the Valley Torah Wolfpack as the Trinity Classical Academy Knights made off with a 20-1 win. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Andrew Carlson was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Jordan Lovelace was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Isaac Saroughian, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2.

Trinity Classical Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Trinity Classical Academy pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14.7 runs. As for Valley Torah, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Trinity Classical Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Tehachapi at 7:00 p.m. As for Valley Torah, they will head out to square off against Faith Baptist at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give Faith Baptist their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
