Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Charlotte). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the DeSoto County Bulldogs 72-35. The Fightin' Tarpons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Charlotte to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adrienne Harris, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 17 points along with six assists and six boards. Those six assists gave Harris a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Acelia Beals, who went 8 for 18 en route to 18 points and five rebounds.

Harris wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Charlotte was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

DeSoto County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Yahri Tyler, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. Tyler is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played. Cherish Wiggins was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Charlotte is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for DeSoto County, their record now sits at 15-6.

Charlotte wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-38 win against Gulf Coast on the 30th. As for DeSoto County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-49 victory against Sebring on the 30th.
