Baseball Recap: Old Bridge Comes Up Short

Old Bridge managed to slip by East Brunswick the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights lost 10-4 to the Bears on Monday.

Brady Meyer and Matt Chin did some serious damage despite the final result: Meyer went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Chin went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Old Bridge is 2-1 when Chin posts three or more RBI, but 4-5 otherwise.

Old Bridge has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for East Brunswick, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-10.
