Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cary-Grove). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jacobs Golden Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. Jack Donoghue had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Cary-Grove.

Cary-Grove's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 2-18-1. As for Jacobs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-3 record this season.
