Cabool has gone a perfect 7-0 against Summersville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Cabool is looking for their season's first victory.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cabool's offense. They lost 12-0 to Alton on Tuesday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Summersville took on South Iron on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Panthers, falling 18-3.

Summersville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Cabool, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Cabool came out on top in a nail-biter against Summersville when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
