Basketball Recap: Darrouzett Comes Up Short

Darrouzett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Miami Warriors, falling 62-10. The game marked Darrouzett's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Leading Miami to victory were Gunner Lackey and Breken Early. Lackey went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points and five steals, while Early went 6 of 8 on his way to 14 points and four steals. Early continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landry Dukes, who posted eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Darrouzett's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Miami, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Booker the next time they take the court. Miami will head out to face Booker at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Darrouzett will host them at 7:15 p.m. on January 17th.
