Preview: 21st Century Charter Cougars vs. Munster Mustangs
The 21st Century Charter Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Munster Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in 21st Century Charter's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 16 matchups.
21st Century Charter can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They breezed by Tindley at home to the tune of 74-45. 21st Century Charter pushed the score to 58-31 by the end of the third, a deficit Tindley had little chance of recovering from.
21st Century Charter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Terrence Hayes, who scored 20 points. Hayes has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last ten times he's played. Elijah Musaddiq was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Meanwhile, Munster had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 62-53 victory over Gary West Side.
21st Century Charter is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Munster, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.
