Preview: Trinity Christian Academy Lions vs. Madison Mustangs
Trinity Christian Academy has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Madison Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Trinity Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
Trinity Christian Academy's 19-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were the victim of a rough 61-38 defeat at the hands of Greenfield.
Despite their loss, Trinity Christian Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Mallory Arnold, who scored 8 points along with 12 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Arnold has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tori Robinson, who scored 7 points.
Meanwhile, Madison made easy work of Jackson North Side last Tuesday and carried off a 49-26 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Madison.
The losses dropped Trinity Christian Academy to 0-4 and Greenfield to 2-2.
Everything came up roses for Trinity Christian Academy against Madison when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 70-24 victory. Will Trinity Christian Academy repeat their success, or does Madison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
