Football Game Preview: South Oak Cliff Bears vs. Terrell Tigers + How To Watch

The South Oak Cliff Bears will take on the Terrell Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Oak Cliff comes in on ten and Terrell on 12.

South Oak Cliff is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mt. Pleasant 46-7. South Oak Cliff's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Levon Morton, who rushed for 117 yards and one score on only 11 carries. The Bears also got a significant boost from Mikail Trotter, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 103 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: South Oak Cliff was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 287 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mt. Pleasant only rushed for 13.

Another reason for the win was South Oak Cliff's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. In that department, Tramell Minter was the leader with two. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last four games he's played. Jamari Stewart was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Terrell against Huntsville on Friday as the squad secured a 41-14 win. Considering the Tigers have won 11 matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

South Oak Cliff's record is now 11-1. As for Terrell, their record now sits at 12-0.
