Baseball Game Preview: Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors vs. North Little Rock Charging Wildcats

The Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors will face off against the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Little Rock Christian Academy has eight straight victories, North Little Rock has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Little Rock Christian Academy's win against Cabot wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Panthers on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, North Little Rock came up short against Catholic on Tuesday, falling 12-2.

Jackson Estes and Will Jones stepped up to the plate in a big way. Estes went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Jones got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Little Rock Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for North Little Rock, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
