Volleyball Recap: KIPP King Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for KIPP King, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Alhambra Bulldogs on Saturday. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

KIPP King was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (57-53), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-19, 15-13.

KIPP King's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-3. As for Alhambra, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
