Lynn Classical had taken Medford down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Rams fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Rams have suffered since May 24, 2025.

Lynn Classical has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. Medford's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4.
