Baseball Recap: Plymouth Whitemarsh Gets the Win

Plymouth Whitemarsh won the last time they faced Abington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Colonials skirted past the Galloping Ghosts 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Colonials.

Plymouth Whitemarsh got a great performance from Jake Rauscher as he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). Rauscher also tossed no walks, which is notable because the Colonials are 4-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 4-5 otherwise.

Plymouth Whitemarsh now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Abington, they dropped their record down to 1-9-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Plymouth Whitemarsh will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Galloping Ghosts: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
