Volleyball Recap: Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Takes a Loss

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter extended their losing streak to six on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 1-7 in the process. They lost 3-0 to the Park Tudor Panthers. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

As for Park Tudor, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. They not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 12, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Park Tudor was led to victory by Gabriel Sanich and Alex Cheng. Sanich had 25 assists and five digs, while Cheng had 16 digs and two assists. Those 16 digs gave Cheng a new career-high.

Coming up, Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter will challenge Guerin Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Park Tudor, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against University on the 18th.
