Navarro won the last time they faced Bandera and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers came out on top against the BULLDOGS by a score of 9-4. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Colt Brown made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Brown was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Navarro got a massive performance out of Elijah Farley, who went 2-for-5 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. Those triples marked the first that Farley hit this season. Another player making a difference was Noah Rosas, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Navarro kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive contests.
Navarro pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
