Brewbaker Tech won the last time they faced JAG and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Brewbaker Tech Rams' way against the JAG Jaguars as the Brewbaker Tech Rams made off with a 16-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Josh Mitchell Jr. and Jamari Thomas did most of the damage at the plate: Mitchell Jr. scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Thomas got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Tanner Thornton was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Brewbaker Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as JAG only posted a batting average of .250.

Brewbaker Tech's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for JAG, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Brewbaker Tech has already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Park Crossing on the 15th. JAG will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Percy Julian at 5:00 p.m. on February 26th.
