Volleyball Recap: Christian Home Educators Fellowship Takes a Loss

Christian Home Educators Fellowship was the 2-0 winner over Acadiana Home School Athletics when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Commandos on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-21, 25-9.

Acadiana Home School Athletics was led to victory by Julia West and Emily Mader. West had 16 kills and seven aces, while Mader had ten aces and nine kills. Mader has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last 15 times she's played. Caitlin Hoffpauir was another key player, getting 13 assists and two aces.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Acadiana Home School Athletics, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against John Paul the Great Academy on the 12th. As for Acadiana Home School Athletics, they will challenge Open Door Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
