Basketball Recap: Gwinn Takes a Loss

Gwinn lost against Westwood back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gwinn Modeltowners were dealt a 66-37 defeat at the hands of the Westwood Patriots. The matchup marked the Modeltowners' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Gwinn's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Westwood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Gwinn will be playing at home against Gladstone at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Westwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Iron Mountain at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Westwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Iron Mountain likes a good challenge.
