Preview: T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets vs. Woodmont Wildcats
After two games on the road, T.L. Hanna is heading back home. They will take on the Woodmont Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
T.L. Hanna scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 73-24 win over Hillcrest on the road. That 49 points margin sets a new team best for T.L. Hanna this season.
T.L. Hanna found their leader in underclassman Harmoni Earl, who scored 25 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Earl has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tamerah Wynn, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Woodmont has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against Travelers Rest by a score of 39-32 on Thursday.
T.L. Hanna's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Woodmont, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.
T.L. Hanna came up short against Woodmont in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 64-51. Thankfully for T.L. Hanna, Anaya Muhammad (who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and two steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
