The Midlothian Trojans will face off against the Powhatan Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Midlothian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Midlothian barely beat Manchester the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Lancers last Thursday. The result kept Midlothian happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

They hit Manchester with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Will Richter (2), Aiden Livezey, and Casey Royle.

Meanwhile, Powhatan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Cosby, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Powhatan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 157th, while Cosby are ranked 16th).

Powhatan now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Midlothian, their win bumped their record up to 7-0-1.

Midlothian took their victory against Powhatan when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
